Wine Label Design

Wine Label Design

This was one of my favourite projects I have been involved in, and package design is definitely an area that I find myself drawn to. This project was another Uni project and was to focus on all aspects of producing branding for a range of two wines. One was an ‘Adelaide Hills, Sauvignon Blanc’ and the other was a ‘Coonawarra Shiraz’.

Not knowing a lot about wine at the time, I set about researching what aspects may help in producing this branding. It was when I came across ‘tasting notes’ where I got my inspiration to develop. I sort about creating the artwork to match what I had come up with the tasting notes idea. The label came together nicely. Creating an elegant label that was still visually appealing enough that it would catch your eye.

I still think that now, as more labels are produced to catch your eye on the shelf, that these labels are visually appealing and staying true to the feeling that surrounds itself with the visit of a cellar door.
